Global Conversations DIGITAL: Women Powering Africa’s Recovery

Access to business financing remains a major constraint for women, particularly in developing countries. Bridging that financing gap and empowering women entrepreneurs is one key to women realizing their full economic potential.

This March we celebrate International Women’s Day with a special presentation honoring women business owners.

FEATURED SPEAKER: Efe Ukala is the founder of ImpactHER, an international nonprofit helping African female entrepreneurs achieve their dreams of globally competitive businesses. She will present the results of ImpactHER’s 2020 survey of the effects of Covid-19 on female business owners throughout Africa. In addition, she will describe specific steps taken by some entrepreneurs who transformed their businesses into stronger, more resilient enterprises.
