Coffee with a Climatologist: Presented by the Landmark Center Volunteer Association

November 19 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

The Landmark Center Volunteer Association is proud to present a morning talk with Dr. Mark Seeley, a widely recognized and esteemed UofM climatologist, to discuss how specific events and climate episodes have had an ever-lasting effect on Minnesota’s cultures, landscapes and historical events. Weather has played a key role in shaping human history and continues to do so. We will also touch on the implications of climate change and more intense weather events we have been experiencing. Coffee and light breakfast treats will be provided. If you enjoy Landmark Center and our programming, consider becoming a volunteer. The Volunteer Director and several volunteers will stick around after the program to engage with anyone interested in learning more about becoming a volunteer at Landmark Center.
