American Association of Woodturners Galleries

The Gallery of Wood Art offers an often surprising and always engaging view of contemporary works created in wood and also features educational exhibits, a display of vintage lathes, and a gallery gift store offering turned items, books and DVDs.

Landmark Gallery
“A Landmark Reclaimed: From Federal Building to Community Icon” in the Landmark Gallery, a permanent exhibition located on the lower level of Landmark Center. The exhibit chronicles the history of Landmark Center and the people who made it the community icon it is today. Open during building hours.

Uncle Sam Worked Here
An interactive interpretive exhibit that gives visitors a glimpse into federal courts, wartime activities, prohibition, Immigration and more that occurred in Landmark Center over the past 105 years. Adding to the Legacy of Minnesota Black Baseball

February 25, 2010 – August 20, 2010

The exhibit traces the history of the Negro Baseball Leagues and African American players through present day in the Twin Cities. Although there was not a Negro League team in Minnesota, League players and many outstanding local athletes played in barnstorming games throughout the state. The exhibit highlights players in St. Paul and Minneapolis in the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s.

The exhibit is free and open to the public.
